Because the little things matter...

Hi, I'm Swara.
It started with a book I wrote and called it Little Things — and I loved the name so much, I never let it go.
Like most students in India, I spent my 11th and 12th grade preparing for NEET, moving through the motions without ever really asking myself: is this what I want? It took a visit to a medical college to give me the answer. Standing there, I realised that Dr. Swara Bhanage didn't feel like home. The idea of being a practising doctor scared me — not the science, but the role.
I still wanted to help people, make a change. I just needed to find my own way to do it.
That search led me to biotechnology — a field so wide and quietly present in everything around us, that when people ask me what it is, I still pause. It is an integration of biology and technology, yes. But honestly? I've found it to be everything and present everywhere. And I love learning about it.
Little Things is a quiet space for thoughts that don't always fit into neat categories. It holds reflections on science, personal observations, moments of curiosity, and pieces of poetry — because life is rarely just one thing at a time. This is a place for noticing. For thinking slowly. For finding meaning in the small details that often go unseen. It is about learning, growing, and sharing — in my own language, at my own pace.
This is my safe space. And you are very welcome here.
